LIT continues to rise after the tokenomics adjustment, breaking $2.70 and bouncing back 2.5 times from the low point.

BlockBeats News, July 6th, according to HTX market data, LIT (Lighter) has continued to rise recently after announcing a significant adjustment to its tokenomics. It has bounced back from a low of $0.77 to $2.7, with a 22% increase in the past 24 hours.

Lighter previously announced that the buyback of tokens using platform revenue will transition from a simple buyback to total permanent burn. At the same time, the project plans to initiate the burn of approximately 15.5 million LIT tokens that were previously bought back, accounting for about 6.3% of the circulating supply. This mechanism will be officially implemented starting from the third quarter of 2026. Furthermore, the source of staking rewards will also shift from platform revenue to the ecosystem reserve fund.
