BlockBeats News, July 3rd, the high-tech industry research firm TrendForce released the latest Memory Price Survey. The DRAM market in Q3 2026 is expected to continue facing a severe supply shortage. Despite this, slowing consumer application demand and the high base effect will slightly alleviate the price surge, with DRAM contract prices expected to increase by +13 to 18% QoQ.
As for NAND Flash, TrendForce believes that AI inference demand and the construction of large-scale data centers will continue to drive most of the demand. However, with contract prices already at a historical high and consumer market demand slowing down, customers' further capacity to absorb price increases has reached its limit.
Therefore, TrendForce predicts that NAND Flash contract prices will increase by +10 to 15% QoQ, with the rate of increase significantly narrowing compared to previous quarters.
