Microsoft and Amazon Engage in a "Land Swap": Claude Lands on Azure, OpenAI Storms Bedrock

According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, the exclusive cloud alliances of the two AI model factions have officially disbanded.

Anthropic has announced that its Claude 4.x series (including Claude Opus 4.8 and Claude Haiku 4.5) is now generally available on Microsoft's Azure AI Foundry, running directly on NVIDIA GB300 GPU power. In response, OpenAI's GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.4 have been deployed on Amazon's AWS Bedrock since two months ago.

The cloud giants are shifting from "proprietary models" to "compute and ingress points," while large models are transitioning to a multi-cloud distribution utility phase.
