US-Iran Conflict Escalates for Third Consecutive Day: Iranian Missile Drones Attack Kuwait US Military Base, Trump Warns "Iran Will Cease to Exist"

BlockBeats News, June 28th, according to CNN reports, after the U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement was reached, the situation has sharply reversed, with both sides engaging in military clashes for three consecutive days. Multiple countries in the Gulf region have been involved in the conflict, and the Strait of Hormuz is once again facing a serious threat to navigation.

In the latest developments, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran claimed to have used missiles and drones to strike U.S. facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain in retaliation for earlier U.S. airstrikes. The Kuwaiti military confirmed that its air defense system is intercepting incoming targets, and the Bahraini Ministry of Interior also issued an alert, urging residents to immediately move to the nearest safe location.

On the U.S. side, the U.S. Central Command announced multiple rounds of strikes on Iranian missile and drone storage facilities, military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defense positions, and mine-laying capabilities, citing Iran's "continued attacks on commercial ships." President Trump promptly issued the strongest warning on social media, stating that if Iran does not stop its attacks, the U.S. military will be forced to "complete the mission already successfully initiated through military means," at which point the "Islamic Republic of Iran will cease to exist."

In a strong response, Iran stated that the U.S. airstrikes violated the ceasefire agreement, "leading to a complete halt of all diplomatic processes."

Meanwhile, the Israeli military launched drone attacks in southern Lebanon the day after reaching a framework agreement in Lebanon, further complicating the regional situation. The preliminary agreement signed earlier this month between the U.S. and Iran aimed at restoring navigation in the Strait of Hormuz is now at risk of total collapse under the impact of continuous clashes, causing market concerns about oil prices, safe-haven assets, and global energy supply to escalate sharply.
