SpaceX to Propel 'Starmind' Orbital AI Computing Network, Plans to Deploy Up to 1 Million AI Satellites

BlockBeats News, June 24, a user from the AI community named "X Freeze" posted that Musk confirmed SpaceX's new generation AI satellite constellation project named "Starmind." The project was described as the next phase of space infrastructure after Starlink, aiming to deploy AI computing power in orbit.


The post stated that SpaceX has submitted plans for up to 1 million orbital AI data center satellites. Each satellite will not only serve communication functions but also act as a solar-powered "Compute Node," providing computational power support for the orbital AI computing network.


According to the disclosed information, the first batch of AI1 satellites is expected to be deployed in 2027, and SpaceX plans to conduct early computational power tests before formal large-scale construction. As of now, SpaceX has not officially announced detailed project information, and the above information is still pending further official confirmation.
