Samsung Unveils Industry’s Fastest UFS 5.0 Empowering Edge AI, Mass Production to Begin in Q4

Achieving the highest in the industry with 10.8GB/s bandwidth, sequential read speeds of up to 10.8 GB/s, and sequential write speeds of up to 9.5 GB/s, the sequential read and write speeds are more than twice as fast as the previous generation UFS 4.1 standard. Samsung's UFS 5.0 solution significantly improves the storage and processing speed of mobile memory, while enhancing efficiency and reducing package size, offering a better on-device AI experience. Samsung will begin mass production of UFS 5.0 in the fourth quarter of this year, with a maximum capacity of up to 1TB.
