According to Pulse Beating monitoring, the benchmarking platform Arena.ai has officially released the benchmark scores of ByteDance's unreleased new model Seed 2.1 Pro Preview. In the Code Arena: Frontend benchmark test, which specifically evaluates AI for building real web applications and multi-file collaborative editing capabilities, the model scored 1539 points, ranking 8th globally, on par with Anthropic's flagship model Claude Opus 4.6.
The model has demonstrated its strong capabilities in React development and frontend UI/UX design, with 5 out of 7 subcategories breaking into the global top 10 (including 7th in React, 14th in HTML, 6th in Branding & Marketing, 9th in Content Creation Tools & Data Analysis, and 10th in Reference-based Design & Consumer Products). In these areas of strength, it outperforms only a handful of top models, such as Anthropic's Claude series and SmartMind AI's recently open-sourced GLM-5.2.
Officials revealed that Seed 2.1 Pro will be officially released to the public in the coming weeks. This marks ByteDance's latest advancement in code generation and AI-powered agent construction following the launch of Seed 2.0 Pro in mid-February earlier this year.
