After US-Iran Preliminary Agreement, Hormuz Strait Reopens to Shipping, Partially Stranded Vessels Start to Transit

BlockBeats News, June 19th. According to The Washington Post, following a preliminary agreement between the United States and Iran and the agreement to lift all restrictions on the key maritime passage, the vessels' traffic in the Strait of Hormuz is gradually returning to normal.

Impacted by the previous tensions, some shipping vessels have been stranded in the Persian Gulf region since February. With the easing of tensions, these vessels have begun to cautiously navigate through the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait of Hormuz is a vital global energy transit point, and this resumption of navigation is seen as a significant indicator of regional de-escalation.
