US Official Reads Out Text of US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding, Similar to Earlier Media Leak

BlockBeats News, June 18th - According to Reuters, a senior U.S. official said on Wednesday that the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding to be signed on Friday is not a final binding agreement, and both the U.S. and Iran can choose to withdraw. The official read out the contents of the 14-point memorandum that will be formally signed in Switzerland, stating that the next stage of negotiations will focus on the specific sequence of measures outlined in the previous preliminary agreement.

The official stated: "I believe this meeting in Switzerland will be very crucial and will determine how we move to the next stage." He emphasized that the Swiss talks would be a key step in ensuring that the memorandum of understanding evolves into a comprehensive agreement. According to reports, the contents read out by the official are largely consistent with versions previously disclosed by multiple media outlets. (Golden Finance)
