Anthropic has postponed the subscription limit restructuring, and the Agent SDK and CLI will continue to share the subscription limit.

According to Dynamic Beating monitoring, Anthropic has sent an email to its subscribers announcing the postponement of the scheduled Claude developer quota restructuring that was supposed to take effect today. Previously, in May, Anthropic announced that starting from June 15th, the Claude Agent SDK, the `claude -p` command-line single-call feature, and third-party applications built on the Agent SDK would no longer share the rate limit of the web subscription. Instead, they would switch to a monthly fixed quota deduction model (e.g., Pro subscribers would be allocated a $20 monthly quota, with any overage being charged through an API).

The notification sent by Anthropic stated that the decision to delay the implementation was made to optimize the payment scheme to better suit the needs of developers using Claude subscriptions to build applications. During this policy extension period, all calls initiated through the SDK or command line will continue to follow the existing web subscription rules, and developers do not need to claim any quota. Existing subscription limits will remain unchanged, and Anthropic has committed to notifying users in advance before any future quota adjustment scheme takes effect.
