Iran: To Charge for Services Related to the Strait of Hormuz Shipping

BlockBeats News, June 15th - According to Iranian media on the 15th, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei stated that Iran will be in charge of the security and transit management of the Strait of Hormuz during a "specific period" and will charge fees for related navigation services.


Prior to this, a provisional agreement was reached between the US and Iran, stating that the Strait of Hormuz will be open free of charge and maritime navigation will resume within 30 days.
