CNN: Iran Denies US-Iran Agreement Signing Schedule, Citing Terms Not Yet Finalized

BlockBeats News, June 14th - According to CNN, U.S. President Trump stated that the agreement with Iran is "scheduled to be signed on Sunday," and mentioned that the Strait of Hormuz would reopen after the agreement is signed. However, the Iran Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps denied the existence of any Sunday signing arrangement and criticized Trump's "unusual insistence" on the signing time, stating that the relevant framework agreement has not yet been finalized.

The report pointed out that currently, all parties are considering completing the signing online to avoid procedural risks associated with offline meetings and the potential for negotiation interruptions. U.S. officials stated that if the memorandum is reached, it will initiate a new 60-day round of negotiations to further detail implementation rules and address remaining disagreements.

At the same time, there are still significant differences in how both parties articulate the core content of the agreement, involving key issues such as the future arrangements of Iran's nuclear program, regional proxy forces, and the disposition of frozen funds, with no consistent version yet established. Overall, the differences between the U.S. and Iran in the pace of agreement advancement and substantive terms continue, with uncertainties existing regarding the final signing time and content.
