BlockBeats News, June 12th, during the Nasdaq closing bell ceremony, SpaceX officially concluded its IPO. Elon Musk himself did not appear at the Nasdaq headquarters but instead delivered a remote speech from the Starbase headquarters in Texas.
In his speech, Musk reminisced about SpaceX's growth story: "It's hard to believe that a company that started from a small warehouse in El Segundo is now about to have the largest IPO in history. If someone had told me in the past that this would happen, I would have thought you must have taken something good. We hope to take anyone who wants to go to the moon, anyone who wants to go to Mars or anywhere in the solar system, and maybe even beyond the solar system. Someday, we hope to take you there, not just a few astronauts, I mean you, literally you. Whoever you are, SpaceX hopes to take you to the moon, take you to Mars, and ultimately go beyond these, and I am very confident now that with the amazing team we have here at SpaceX, we will make this happen for you in the near future."
At the same time, Musk once again emphasized SpaceX's long-term missions: interplanetary exploration, Starship, Starlink expansion, space AI data centers, and more.
