U.S. Stocks Open Higher, SpaceX-Related Stocks Mixed, Virgin Galactic Plunges

BlockBeats News, June 12th, according to Bitget market data, the US stock market opened with the Dow rising 0.59%, the S&P 500 rising 0.2%, and the Nasdaq nearly flat.


SpaceX debuted today, with related stocks seeing Rocket Lab up 1.5% and Virgin Galactic down 14%. Large-cap tech stocks opened relatively stable. Sharon AI dropped 3.9%, as the company signed a six-year computing power cooperation agreement with NVIDIA (NVDA.O).


CPO concept stocks continued to retreat, with AAOI down 2.02%, MRVL down 4.03%, and LITE down 2.95%. Memory stocks remained under pressure, with MU down 3.36%. Storage stocks saw an uptick, with SNDK up 1.81% and STX (Seagate Technology) up 3.34%.
