BlockBeats News, June 12th. According to Iran's state media Fars News Agency, the Iranian authorities have included Musk and his affiliated businesses in the Middle East in a potential strike list, covering SpaceX's Starlink operation and related ground station facilities.
The report cited "informed sources" stating that the potential targets include Musk's commercial facilities in several Middle Eastern countries, involving Starlink ground stations and partner networks in Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, and Oman, among others. The Iranian authorities have accused these businesses of providing technical support to the U.S. in military actions against Iran, considering them as "the infrastructure for participating in war activities." The report also mentioned that Iran reserves the right to take action against these related facilities in the region.
Meanwhile, SpaceX and the White House have not yet responded to this report. It is worth noting that Starlink has been widely used for military communication support in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and SpaceX has recently secured significant contracts with the U.S. military for satellite networks.
