SpaceX IPO Valuation Sparks Debate: Lower than Space Industry Norm but Higher than AI and Cloud Computing Companies

BlockBeats News, June 11th, SpaceX is about to go public, and there is a significant discrepancy in its valuation compared to the space and AI industries: Compared to its space industry peers, SpaceX appears to be undervalued; however, compared to AI and cloud computing companies, its valuation is on the higher side. Based on a projected valuation of nearly $1.75 trillion, SpaceX's price-to-sales ratio is around 52 times, much higher than the average level of large tech companies, but lower than some of its space industry peers.

There is a significant difference in valuation methodologies for Starlink, space business, and AI business, and investors are still debating whether SpaceX should be considered an infrastructure company, a telecommunications company, or an AI-driven tech company for pricing.
