Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps Calls Missile Attack on Israeli Air Base 'Warning Shot'

BlockBeats News, June 8th, according to Xinhua News Agency, on the evening of June 7th, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran issued a statement saying that the Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force used ballistic missiles to strike the Ramat David Airbase in northern Israel. The statement said that this action was in response to Israel's recent military operations in several areas in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut.

The Iranian side believes that the Ramat David Airbase is one of the important bases where the Israeli military carries out related military operations. The statement stated that Iran accepted the ceasefire arrangement on April 8th on the condition of a comprehensive ceasefire on all fronts, but the U.S. and Israel did not fulfill their relevant commitments thereafter. The statement accused the Israeli side of continuing military operations in Lebanon and accused the U.S. and Israel of taking action against Iranian ships and coastal targets in the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman, and the Indian Ocean, disrupting the ceasefire arrangement.

The statement stated that Iran's missile strike on Israel that evening was "of a warning nature," and if Israeli military actions escalate further, Iran's future response will expand to cover more American and Israeli targets in the region.
