Trump: Will Not Unfreeze Iran's Assets or Lift Any Sanctions Early in Any Deal

BlockBeats News, June 7th, according to NBC News, U.S. President Trump stated that if an agreement could be reached with Iran to end the three-month-long conflict between the two countries, the U.S. would cooperate with Iran to retrieve and destroy its highly enriched uranium. If an agreement cannot be reached, the U.S. will further weaken Iran's military capabilities until the U.S. military can securely confiscate the nuclear materials.

Trump also mentioned that the U.S. could track related activities through its "Space Force" monitoring capabilities. Trump stated that the two sides are "very close" to signing an agreement, but he still demanded more concessions from Iran in terms of abandoning its nuclear program. Trump expressed his desire to add a clause to prevent Iran from circumventing the agreement's restrictions.

Trump mentioned that the initial agreement included a clause that they must not "develop" nuclear weapons, but he hoped to include the words "purchase, procure, or acquire" in the agreement. He added that Iran was initially "a little resistant" to this, "but then they weren't anymore."
