BlockBeats News, June 6th, according to on-chain analyst Wu Jinyu's monitoring, ETH dropped to a low of $1540 early this morning, triggering a whale liquidation at one point. The whale's liquidation price was $1565, and a total of 21,540 ETH were liquidated, worth approximately $33.7 million.
After the partial liquidation of the whale's position, ETH immediately rebounded without further price exploration or triggering additional liquidation of its remaining position.
Currently, the whale's leveraged position still holds 82,871 ETH, worth around $132 million, with liquidation prices of $1527 and $1459, respectively. The recent liquidation price is about $70 away from the current price. If ETH declines again, further liquidation may still occur.
