Securitize’s SPAC Merger Approved by SEC

BlockBeats News, June 5th, according to an announcement from Securitize, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has declared the effectiveness of its Form S-4 registration statement regarding the merger transaction with SPAC company Cantor Equity Partners II. This means that the listing process of Securitize has made a significant advancement, and CEPT shareholders will hold a special meeting on June 29, 2026, to vote on the merger. If approved, the transaction is expected to be completed shortly thereafter.


Upon completion of the transaction, the merged company is expected to operate under the name "Securitize Corp." and be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "SECZ".
