Double-dealing: Israel Continues to Disrupt US-Iran Talks, Once Again Rejects Ceasefire in Lebanon

BlockBeats News, June 3rd. Israel continues to disrupt the US-Iran talks, showing apparent support for the negotiations but never ceasing its actions. The Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces has just stated that the IDF will not cease fire in Lebanon. We operate proactively, take action, and counter all threats.

However, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu earlier stated: "Trump and I agree on the main issue regarding Iran. Sometimes we have tactical disagreements, but we will resolve these issues. My relationship with Trump has not changed; Trump is Israel's 'greatest friend' in the White House."

Trump has recently pushed for a speedy US-Iran ceasefire agreement and today acknowledged having had an "angry" conversation with Netanyahu. It was previously rumored that Trump, during a call with Netanyahu, expressed strong dissatisfaction with Israel's military escalation in Lebanon and demanded a halt to Israel's plan to strike Beirut.
