Former US Presidential Candidate's Noble Acquires Helium Mobile, Targeting the Low-Cost Mobile Communications Market

BlockBeats News, June 2nd, Mobile communication service provider Helium Mobile, built on the decentralized encrypted network Helium, has been acquired by Noble Mobile, a company focused on the universalization of communication services founded by American entrepreneur and former US presidential candidate Andrew Yang.

Helium Mobile had previously launched a free mobile plan service (which has now been discontinued). The company stated that it shares the same vision with Noble Mobile in improving the affordability of communication services. After the merger, both parties plan to continue offering low-cost mobile plans, aiming to challenge traditional telecom giants through more competitive services.

Frank Mong, Chief Operating Officer of Helium Mobile, stated: "We chose Noble Mobile because both sides are highly aligned in values, vision for development, and management team. The company believes that this acquisition will help further expand the market coverage of the decentralized communication network and drive the development of low-cost mobile communication services."
