Masayoshi Son Reclaims Title of Asia's Richest Man

BlockBeats News, June 2nd, Forbes real-time billionaire list shows that SoftBank Group founder and CEO Masayoshi Son's net worth has risen to $100.7 billion, surpassing Indian tycoons Ambani and Adani, reclaiming the title of Asia's richest person after more than a decade.


SoftBank's stock price surged by 14.71% yesterday, with a market capitalization of 48 trillion yen (approximately $306 billion), exceeding Toyota's roughly 46 trillion yen, officially ending Toyota's over twenty-year reign as the top-listed company in Japan by market value.


As of today's close of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, SoftBank's market value has further risen to 49.30 trillion yen, while Toyota's is at 44.92 trillion yen.
