Circle has reportedly blacklisted the Zama cUSDC contract address, freezing approximately $12.6 million

BlockBeats News, May 30, On-chain sleuth ZachXBT revealed that approximately 7 hours ago, USDC's issuer Circle was suspected to have blacklisted the privacy protocol Zama's confidential USDC (cUSDC) contract address on the Ethereum network. Around $12.6 million in funds within the contract are currently frozen, and the related assets cannot be transferred or used at the moment.

As of now, Circle and Zama official have not yet issued a detailed explanation on this matter.
