Ant's first AI Glasses quietly launched on Taobao, starting at RMB 899

According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, Ant Group quietly launched its first self-developed AI smart glasses, Willit, which has officially gone on sale on Taobao, with the accompanying mobile app Willit AI also simultaneously available on the app store. The product details page and business information indicate that the sales entity of Willit is Beijing Ant Zorro Technology Co., Ltd., with the legal representative being Zhao Wenbiao, Senior Vice President of Ant Group and CEO of Ant Financial Technology. As Ant Group's first attempt to enter the consumer-grade AI hardware field, Willit has avoided a high hardware premium and entered the market with a starting price of 899 yuan. The sunglass model has sold more than 1,000 pairs on the Taobao platform.

At the core functionality level, Willit includes two styles: sunglass and photochromic, supporting functions such as photo taking, video recording, call/music, real-time translation, recording transcription, AI conversation, and photo recognition. The photo recognition function integrates practical life scenarios such as calorie recognition, while the flagship positioning covers AI Q&A, AI personal assistant, and third-party service support. Store customer service confirmed that Willit currently does not have payment functionality. Despite the lack of direct payment interaction capability, the voice, vision, and large-scale model linkage capabilities demonstrated by Willit are conducive to Ant Group's subsequent capture of the next generation mainstream interactive entrance, seizing the initiative in the entrance battle of the AI era.

From a capital and operational perspective, Willit has a clear connection to Ant Group's technology and ecosystem. Tianyancha and public information show that Beijing Ant Zorro Technology Co., Ltd. is 100% owned by Beijing Lingzhou Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Lingzhou Technology Co., Ltd. is the core carrier of Ant Group's trusted identity verification technology platform ZOLOZ. The operator of the Willit AI application for the glasses is Sas Digital Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., which is wholly owned by Ant Future Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd., with Zhao Wenbiao serving as the legal representative of both entities. As a Senior Vice President of Ant Group and CEO of Ant Financial Technology, Zhao Wenbiao serves as the legal representative and manager of the operating entity of Willit, reflecting Ant Group's strategic emphasis on consumer-grade AI hardware entrances.
