According to Dongcha Beating monitoring, on May 26, 2026, the Get app celebrated its tenth anniversary by renaming its personal knowledge management and transcription software from Get Note to "Get Brain," transitioning the system from passive organization to an active interactive AI model.

The Get Brain project started in 2018. In a public letter marking the third anniversary of Get on May 26, 2019, the Get Brain plan was first introduced, led by Chief Scientist Yang Pu, with the design goal of creating a personal knowledge map. After the release of ChatGPT at the end of 2022, the project's development accelerated. Get Note, originating as an internal meeting organization tool at Feishu, launched a WeChat mini-program in May 2024 and a full version of the app in November. Over the two years of operation, Get Note attracted 2.7 million registered users and handled approximately 9,000 meeting records daily.

The renamed Get Brain introduced new features of an active interactive AI, including Review, Sprout, Inquire, and Polish functions. The system now supports actively mining historical records, identifying knowledge blind spots, and transforming spoken content into publishable drafts. Get Brain integrates the ten-year e-book and course library of Get, allowing user reading and learning records on the platform to serve as material for the AI model. The software provides a Skill interface and Command Line Interface (CLI), enabling the integration of recorded data into third-party AI workflows.

With the feature enhancements, membership fees have been raised accordingly. The annual fee for the Standard version has been adjusted from the Get Note era's 199 yuan/year to 299 yuan/year (promotional price; regular price is 399 yuan/year, with a monthly subscription at 49 yuan/month), representing an increase of approximately 50%. Get Brain has introduced, for the first time, an Expert version priced at 1999 yuan/year, offering eight AI writing roles, including topic selection, source material, and formatting. Existing users can transition to the Standard version for free during their current membership period, with personal meeting summaries, recordings, and other historical data fully retained. Due to the lack of prior notice of the price increase and some promised interactive features such as fitness data integration not yet implemented, some existing users have raised concerns about the transparency of the price adjustment and the maturity of the product.
