The Dutch Government Blocks US Company from Acquiring Cloud Service Provider Solvinity

BlockBeats News, May 26th, according to Bloomberg, the Dutch government has blocked the proposed acquisition of Dutch cloud service provider Solvinity Group BV by the U.S. company Kyndryl, citing security concerns.


Dutch Minister of Digital Economy Willemijn Aerdts stated in a letter to parliament on Tuesday: "The proposed Solvinity acquisition may pose risks to the public interest." She also announced that the transaction will be subject to a "complete ban," with the acquisition originally in the final stages.
