BlockBeats News, May 26th, Bitget announced the launch of a licensed financial protocol Reality, focusing on Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization. The issued tokenized stocks (rTokens) are strictly pegged 1:1 to the underlying US stocks, with the assets custodied by a FINRA-registered, SIPC-protected US securities broker, and real-time reserve proof provided through third-party independent audits. By directly accessing US stock liquidity pools such as Nasdaq and NYSE, Reality's stock tokens can achieve liquidity on par with traditional brokers; at the same time, stock dividends will be distributed 1:1 to user accounts in token form, with cash dividends automatically converted to USDT for distribution. Stock splits and mergers will also be instantly mapped to on-chain tokens, ensuring a highly consistent experience with holding US stocks.
In addition, the US stock tokens launched by Reality are deeply integrated into the Bitget ecosystem, such as serving as unified account margins, compatible with grid trading, copy trading systems, and staking and borrowing core product lines.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen previously proposed the "10% Vision": currently, tokenized stocks account for only 0.1% of the $125 trillion global stock market. She predicts that by 2030, this ratio will rise to nearly 10%. Reality is built based on this trend, focusing on US stocks in the early stages, and will later expand to other asset classes, driving Bitget's UEX strategy to extend to a broader global financial asset access layer.
