BlockBeats News, May 25th, according to Bloomberg, the CEO of Sakura Internet Inc. stated that in order to keep up with the growing demand for artificial intelligence in Japan, the company may need to increase its capital expenditure to almost seven times the initial plan.

The data center operator is considering investing up to ¥20 billion to ¥30 billion (approximately $125 million to $190 million) in this fiscal year. The company's founder and CEO, Kunihiro Tanaka, stated that this figure is much higher than the ¥4.4 billion official capital expenditure plan announced by the Osaka-based company last month.
