Wang Chun to Participate in SpaceX's First Interstellar Manned Mission, Planning to Fly Past Mars and Return to Earth

BlockBeats News, May 22nd, SpaceX announced that F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun will participate in SpaceX's first manned interstellar mission and will serve as the mission commander, conducting a two-year-long flight: first exploring outer space beyond the Earth-Moon system, then flying by Mars before returning to Earth. Prior to this interstellar mission, Wang Chun will join Dennis and Akiko Tito in the Starship commercial manned lunar flyby, with the planned flight passing within 200 kilometers of the lunar surface.


This is the first commercial manned interstellar mission of the Starship. Wang Chun had previously commanded the Fram2 polar orbit mission in 2025, gaining experience for this flight.
