The company's founder, Fai Nur, stated that in this app, users can play any role in any universe. The app officially concluded its beta testing last year and was publicly released.

The world of Status is user-generated, with scenes, stories, and characters all coming from player interaction. "You start by choosing a character as your first follower, then gradually gain more followers as the story unfolds." The app also offers multiplayer and single-player modes where users can interact with friends. She also mentioned, "We are in talks with film and television companies and streamers who believe Status can help cultivate a fan base ahead of offline events such as movies or concerts."
