BlockBeats News, May 18th, Goldman Sachs' 13F filing for Q1 2026 submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) revealed a significant reduction in its cryptocurrency ETF holdings. The firm completely liquidated its positions in all XRP-related ETFs as well as all Solana ETFs under Grayscale, Bitwise, and Fidelity.
Goldman Sachs' Bitcoin ETF holdings still include about $690 million in BlackRock IBIT and approximately $25 million in Fidelity FBTC, both decreased by around 10% from the previous quarter. The Ethereum ETF holdings saw a larger decrease, with the iShares Ethereum ETF (ETHA) position being cut by about 70% to about $114 million remaining.
Furthermore, during the same period, Goldman Sachs increased its holdings in Circle, Galaxy Digital, Coinbase, Robinhood, and PayPal, while reducing its positions in Strategy, Riot Platforms, among other stocks.
