X Premium opens third-party API access, open sources Hermes Agent with added Tweet search

According to DotWatch Beating monitoring, following yesterday's successful integration with Grok standalone subscription, xAI announced today that X Premium subscription users with complimentary Grok access can now also directly authorize model capabilities through the open-source Hermes Agent.

Previously, this third-party mechanism only supported subscription accounts with separate payments on Grok.com. This expansion of authorization rights to a broader audience within the X platform's subscription membership system significantly reduces the barrier for regular users to access top-tier computing power for their local AI agents.
