Aave: rsETH Technical Recovery Plan First Phase Completed, Attacker's Arbitrum On-chain rsETH Burned

BlockBeats News, May 13th, Aave official announcement: The first phase of the rsETH technical recovery plan has been completed, including the burning of the attacker's rsETH on Arbitrum. Over the next few days, the LayerZero OFT adapter will gradually replenish and reopen rsETH operations.

Kelp has stated that within the next two weeks, 117,132 rsETH will be gradually deposited from the Aave Recovery Guardian and Kelp Recovery Safe into the mainnet's LayerZero OFT adapter. Full support for rsETH on the mainnet and L2s will always be maintained. Following the first batch's withdrawal to the LayerZero OFT adapter, Kelp is scheduled to resume withdrawals within 24 hours. All rsETH operations — deposits, redemptions, bridging, and claims — will resume normally after the contract's suspension is lifted.
