Iranian Official Threatens to Increase Uranium Enrichment to 90%, Uranium Enrichment Right Key Dispute in Talks

BlockBeats News, May 12th, Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated that if Iran is attacked again, Iran's response may be to increase the uranium enrichment level to 90%. Rezaei said that this issue will be discussed in the Iranian Parliament.

Currently, the uranium enrichment issue has become a key obstacle in US-Iran talks. Yesterday, the Iranian side once again reiterated that the right to uranium enrichment is "non-negotiable." The US had previously demanded that Iran either move its highly enriched uranium out of Iranian territory or proposed that Iran suspend uranium enrichment activities for 20 years.

According to PolyBeats monitoring, on the prediction market Polymarket, the probability of "When will Iran agree to stop uranium enrichment" by the end of May is 7%, by the end of June is 28%, and by the end of the year is 54%.
