Trump Calls Iran Negotiations Lacking in Sincerity, Still Leaves Diplomatic Solution on the Table

BlockBeats News, May 12th: U.S. President Trump tweeted that the Iranian negotiation representative kept "changing positions" during the discussion process and accused the other party of "lacking sincerity."

He also mentioned that the U.S. side waited for an Iranian document for four days, but that document could have been completed "actually in ten minutes." Trump also stated, "Now, nobody wants to be the President of Iran."

On the situation, Trump expressed that the Iranian issue "still has the potential to be resolved through diplomatic means." He added that even if the Strait of Hormuz reopens to navigation, there will still be buyers continuing to purchase U.S. crude oil.
