BlockBeats News, May 11th - According to market reports, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son is in talks regarding a major data center project in France; the related transaction may be announced later this month.

BlockBeats previously reported that on April 23rd, SoftBank was seeking a $10 billion margin loan with its stake in OpenAI as collateral, with a two-year term and a one-year extension option. This is SoftBank's second large loan related to OpenAI recently. In March of this year, SoftBank secured a $40 billion bridge loan for additional investment in OpenAI and general corporate purposes. Previously, SoftBank had committed to investing $30 billion in OpenAI through Vision Fund 2.
