Circle Launches AI Agent Infrastructure Suite, Supporting AI Self-Custody Assets and USDC Merchant Payments

BlockBeats News, May 11th, Circle announced the launch of a new infrastructure suite called Circle Agent Stack for the "Agentic Economy," including Circle CLI, Agent Wallets, Agent Marketplace, and Nanopayments based on Circle Gateway, enabling AI agents to hold assets, discover services, and make on-chain payments as autonomous economic entities.

Among them, Nanopayments support gas-free USDC transfers as low as $0.000001, targeting high-frequency machine-to-machine payment scenarios; Agent Wallets allow AI agents to autonomously manage funds within preset permissions and risk frameworks; Agent Marketplace provides an AI service directory, enabling agents to automatically discover and invoke services.

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire stated that traditional financial infrastructure was designed for "humans," while the future global economy will be increasingly driven by AI and intelligent agents. Circle Agent Stack is the company's first complete product suite aimed at the "AI agent itself" rather than developers.
