BlockBeats News, May 8th. According to Pakistani sources, Iran is reviewing its response to the 14-point proposal from the United States. The 14-point proposal aims to formally end hostilities, open a 30-day negotiation window, and engage in detailed discussions on issues such as the Iranian nuclear program, sanctions relief, and safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.

A Pakistani diplomatic source stated that Iranian officials are expected to formally respond on May 8th, and the U.S. is awaiting Iran's position on key issues. Iran recently submitted a new proposal through Pakistani mediation to the U.S., which includes the 14-point plan. The main points include ensuring no further military aggression, compensation by the U.S. military, and the establishment of a new management mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz. On May 2nd, President Trump stated that he would soon evaluate Iran's new proposal but "cannot imagine" that the proposal "can be accepted." (CCTV News)
