ZEC Network Hash Rate Surpasses 14 GSol/s, Minor Monthly Growth Reflects Recovery in Network Activity

BlockBeats News, May 6th, according to the mining pool data aggregation website Minerstat, the Zcash (ZEC) network hashrate has recently remained around the 13–14 GSol/s range, with the current level at approximately 13.5 GSol/s. The current hashrate level demonstrates that the network security is maintained at a relatively high level, while also reflecting overall stable miner participation.

Compared to a month ago, the ZEC network hashrate was approximately in the 12.5–13.0 GSol/s range, indicating an overall increase in hashrate of about 5%–8% in the past 30 days. This growth is mainly driven by the improvement in mining rewards and some returning hashrate, with changes in the mining pool structure also affecting hashrate distribution. Market analysis suggests that if the demand for privacy solutions continues to rise, coupled with improved price expectations, the ZEC network hashrate still has room for further upward movement in the short term.
