US Military: Iran Attack Not Yet Reached 'Threshold for Major Combat Operations Restart'

BlockBeats News, May 5th - On May 5th, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Kaine stated that currently, all of Iran's attacks have not yet reached the threshold for "restarting a large-scale military operation."


General Kaine said that since the ceasefire was announced, Iran has fired on merchant ships 9 times and seized 2 container ships. Kaine also stated that currently 22,500 sailors are stranded in the Gulf.


U.S. Defense Secretary Haggerty said the ceasefire (with Iran) has not ended and urged Iran to act with caution.
