BlockBeats News, May 5th, according to CCTV News, U.S. President Trump, in an interview, refused to explicitly state whether the ceasefire agreement between the U.S. and Iran is still in effect. When asked if the ceasefire has ended and if military strikes could resume, Trump said, "I can't tell you that. If I answer that, you would say that person is not smart enough to be president." Earlier that day, Trump warned in an interview that if Iran attempts to attack U.S. ships in the Strait of Hormuz or the Persian Gulf, they will be "completely obliterated." However, he later stated that, from a military standpoint, the conflict with Iran is "basically over."
