U.S. Treasury Secretary: Iran has had limited success in trying to collect ship transit fees, post-war oil prices expected to plummet

BlockBeats News, May 3rd, U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen stated that oil prices should see a sharp decline post-war. The futures market is predicting a drop in oil prices. More vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz would not be surprising.

Iran has had little success in its attempts to impose a toll on vessel passage. The U.S. is currently experiencing record levels of energy exports; the only limiting factor on U.S. energy exports is infrastructure. The U.S. is a "big winner" in the energy market.
