Iranian Official: No Negotiations Without Supreme Leader's Approval

BlockBeats News, May 3rd — On May 3rd local time, Iranian Parliament member Mojtaba Zolnouri revealed new details of the Islambad Talks on social media. Zolnouri stated that the basis of the Islambad negotiations was obtaining permission from Iran's Supreme Leader.

In addition to obtaining negotiation permission, the negotiation content must also stay within the Supreme Leader's framework: When the US wanted to discuss nuclear technology issues, they were informed that the Supreme Leader had prohibited the delegation from engaging in technical discussions on this matter; from now on, decisions in this regard will be made entirely by the Supreme Leader.

Furthermore, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran was prohibited from joining the negotiation team. (Jinse)
