The post-Buffett era's first Berkshire Hathaway shareholders meeting has begun, with the theme of "Legacy Continuance."

BlockBeats News, May 2nd: Berkshire Hathaway's first shareholder meeting in the post-Buffett era has started tonight at 8:00 PM (UTC+8). This is the first "Investment Oscars" hosted by the new CEO, Greg Abel, since the 95-year-old Buffett stepped down as CEO and Abel officially took over. The theme of this meeting is "The Legacy Continues," with Abel, insurance head Ajit Jain, subsidiary executives Katie Farmer, and Adam Johnson answering shareholder questions. The discussion mainly focuses on company's capital allocation, stock buybacks, tech holdings strategy, and future growth path.

Although Buffett is still present as a non-executive chairman, the spotlight has officially shifted to the 63-year-old Abel, marking Berkshire Hathaway's official entry into the "post-Buffett era."
