BlockBeats News, May 2nd, Apple Inc. has raised the starting price of the Mac Mini computer from $599 to $799 to address inventory shortages and chip supply constraints driven by the demand for artificial intelligence. The company actually achieved this price increase by discontinuing the base configuration. The previous base model was equipped with an M4 chip and 256GB of storage, and the new base model still has the same chip but with storage increased to 512GB.
The starting price of the M4 Pro model remains unchanged at $1399. Since the $599 configuration model is sold out in most retail outlets, this configuration is no longer available. Shipments of other configurations from the Apple online store will take weeks or even months, and supplies at Apple retail stores are also very limited. (Jinse)
