Latest Update from DeFi United: Mantle Lending Proposal Enters Governance Vote, $314.57 million ETH Raised

BlockBeats News, May 1st, Mantle Network officially announced that the proposed loan facility for the rsETH Relief Coordination Action initiated towards Aave has formally entered the governance voting stage. According to the proposal, Mantle will provide a loan to Aave's relief action to help users exit their positions in an orderly manner or address related issues. Currently, users holding the MNT token need to delegate their votes on the Snapshot platform to participate in the voting.

Aave founder Stani commented that DeFi United is the largest-scale DAO coordination he has participated in, with at least 6 different DAOs proposing governance solutions (Arbitrum, Aave, EtherFi, Lido, Compound, and Mantle), thanking everyone who helped and participated.

The ongoing DeFi United ecosystem relief effort initiated by Aave continues to progress, aimed at addressing the collateral shortfall from the rsETH event on April 18th. The designated donation address has currently raised a cumulative total of 1,137,714.633 ETH, valued at $3.1457 billion.
