The US Department of Defense has reached agreements with 7 AI-related companies to transform the American military into an "AI-driven" fighting force in the future.

According to On the Beat AI monitoring, the US Department of Defense has signed agreements with 7 AI-related companies, namely SpaceX, OpenAI, Google, NVIDIA, Reflection, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Pentagon stated that "these agreements accelerate the US military's transformation process, will help the US military build a 'AI-dominant' fighting force, and will enhance the ability of the US military to maintain decision-making superiority in all warfighting domains."
