Trump Shooting Incident Surveillance Video Released, Gunman Pushes Past Several Security Guards to Stop

BlockBeats News, May 1st, U.S. Federal Prosecutor Jeanine Pirro in Washington, D.C. released edited surveillance video of the Trump assassination attempt on X platform. The video shows the perpetrator Cole Allen shooting a Secret Service officer during an attempted assassination at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Pirro explicitly denies that the Secret Service officer was injured due to friendly fire. The video also presents Allen scouting the Washington Hilton hotel fitness center and corridors the day before, conducting on-site reconnaissance.

Following the shooting incident, there has been controversy over the public's response to the U.S. Secret Service security, including the detection of anomalies by police dogs multiple times without proper attention and delayed reactions from on-site personnel.

U.S. Secret Service Director Sean Corwin had previously stated that Allen was not subdued by Secret Service gunfire but tripped over a box containing a metal detector as he was running past an exterior checkpoint of the venue. Corwin also confirmed that out of the five shots fired at Allen by the Secret Service agents, not a single one hit him.
