Google's Parent Company Surges 10%, Single-Day Market Cap Soars by $421 billion, Setting the Second Highest Record in History

The previous record holder was Nvidia, with its market cap skyrocketing by about $440 billion in a single day, when Trump announced a suspension of additional tariffs.


As of Thursday's close, Alphabet's stock price has risen by 23% this year, increasing its market cap by over $860 billion, bringing its total market cap to $4.65 trillion.
